Mission Statement

Richardgolf.com will include content about procedures and materials used in golf course construction. I’ll add content about written communications for golf course construction managers and superintendents. In a politically sensitive business, clearly written documents create efficient communication conduits.

I’ve learned many construction procedures while working with talented golf course shapers and superintendents.  I’ve sat on bulldozer tracks as the sun set, listening to these individuals discuss the golf course business.

I’ve also acquired information from engineers, contractors, and country club members.

The site will be commercial free. I won’t mention names or products unless they are needed to clarify a post.

I’ll update posts with newly acquired information. I learn something new every day. I’m often in the field learning new perspectives on golf course construction.
